so sad....

I just found out that one of my Dad's-and the family's-good friends passed away on Christmas Eve. He was older (80's), sick for a long time, and he had a heart attack. So so sad...


Maybe this sounds weird...but I don't know if any of you ladies have experienced this..but it's the 5th person I've had to 'cut' from the guestlist because he or she died. It is just such a sad thing, and so unusual. It's an experience that really makes me realize what life is worth.

I do understand what you are going through FMIL past away in July. My aunt past away Dec 19 and she and my uncle was was married for 68 years. I was going to do something special for them on my wedding day because people don't stay together that long.

i'm so sorry... i've had to remove two people from my list when they passed.

We lost my grandmother and my father's cousin during the short 6 months we were planning our wedding. It was so strange and sad to look at my original guest lists and see my Nana on there (she died in February).

It's worthwhile to appreciate how precious life is. We can never value it enough!!!
