Last night one of my best friends (and BM) called me to ask if it is ok if she steps out of the bridal party. She found out she is pregnant and is due two weeks before my wedding.
I am SO happy for her and her husband...but I am so sad that she won't be in the bridal party, and may not even be able to attend the weding!

That's great/sad news. I have 2 wives of GM who are due the month b4. One said she'll be at the wedding come hell, highwater or baby. The other I'm not so sure.

I'm in kind of the same position. One of my BM has said that she may need to bow out if she does become pregnant (they have been trying for #2) and is unable to stand (literally) or fly up for the wedding. I totally understand where you are coming from.

awww i'm so sorry! that really *****...but look on the positive side - she gave you enough time that if you really needed a replacement you could ask someone else (hopefully...)

one of my BM (1st cousin ) is pregnant she;ll be about 6 mths for the wedding at first it bothered me but I want her in the wedding and she is willing to so that made me happy

Thanks for the support ladies.
It really is great news.... But it's not a matter of replacing her....I don't mind if the BP is uneven (It already was)
I just wanted her to be there with me on the big day. I am not one of those people that has a million 'acquaintances/.' I have a few really close friends, and she is one of them. Thanks for listening to me!

don't be sad.... it's becuase of a really happy thing!
there is still a small chance she will still be attending if she is able, so she may still be sharing in your special day....
and soon, you'll have someone new to hang around with
