I am so upset this morning. I was on my way into work and notice that a stone is missing on my e-ring. I called FH crying and everyone on the train must have thought that I was crazy and it was the end of the world. I am so upset. It is not the fact of have to pay to replace the stone it is just that I only have the ring less then 2 months and already a stone came out.
I called the place where we got it and we can buy the protection plan today and they will fix it plus it will be covered for the next 5 years so that takes care of that problem but I am still so sad over the fact that it happened at all.
OMG OMG OMG I found my diamond. Last night I got home and was talking to FH on the phone and looked around the living room and sure enough I see something sparkle. I say 'OMG' and FH is like what is wrong I walk over and lift the diamond out of the carpet with my nail. I was soooooooo happy FH looked all afternoon for that diamond and I found it in 5 minutes. It just goes to show how Woman have an eye for diamonds!!!!LOL

That's so sad and I am sorry to hear that. A stone fell out of my ring once too when I was getting it cleaned. I didn't notice it until I got home and when I saw it was missing my FH called the shop and they were able to find the stone in the cleaning machine. It took them 3 days to get it fixed but it stinks when it happens! I know how it feels!

I just dropped my e-ring off at the jewelry shop to straighten and tighten the prongs because my stone was rattling around.

Oh hun!!!! This is my worst nightmare -- i always worry about it. I can only imagine how upset you must be -- but the good news is, they can replace it. Dont get down on yourself about it...things like this just happen.

Re: So sad - lost stone in ring
If you've only had the ring 2 months and a stone came off already, you should not be paying to replace it.
Didn't you get a guarantee when you bought the ring? They don't stand by their craftmanship?
I lost a stone in my ring, a month before the wedding and went back to the jeweler (Italian Jewelers in Tri-County) and they replaced it for free.
It wasn't a huge stone, but it was still a diamond.
I'm sorry this happened, and I hope you get it replaced soon and at no cost!

Re: So sad - lost stone in ring
thank you girls all so much
I am feeling alittle better although I am still sad about it happening. FH is feeling that it happened becuaese of having it sized. He feel that because of the bending of the meltal maybe they didn't secure the stones good enough.
