Is anyone else really depressed that the holidays are over??
I was just sitting looking at my tree and I am so sad. It feels like they came and went without me even knowing. I love the season and all that goes with it...the world seems so much brighter during the season and now its all over..
Anyone else feel like this?

I'm not necessarily depressed the holidays are over - I am really depressed that my vacation is over and that I have to be up in less than 6 hours and I'm still awake!!!

Oh I feel the same!
Im a teacher and I go back tomorrow and if I even lay in the bed, forget it, I will just toss and turn. I gave up, tomorrow I will just be a walking zombie and hopefully back on track for Tuesday!

Exactly!!! I have been sleeping all day long for the past two weeks!!! I am going to feel like crapola tomorrow!!! Where areyou a teacher?

My fiance is.
Where he's from most companies give the week between Christmas and New Year's off. He's always had time off for it until this year since the last two years his former boss let him have the week off.
But I think what he really missed was the comraderie of his friends who are back home, not the Christmas spirit per se. He'll be happier come April when they all come over for the wedding

Honesly, I'll be glad to get back to a regular routine again. I am tired and even though I didn't have off too much in the past couple of weeks, my sleeping is off schedule and I am tired of having company and visiting people. I know that sounds terrible, but half of the last 4 weekends have been spent preparing for guests with the other half with the guests themselves.

Well I am sad in general that this vacation time is over. Its not that often I get to spend four days in a row with my FH.

I hate when all the Christmas lights get taken down. I love seeing how festive people can be. I think they should be up all year... and not because people are too lazy to take them down!!

i am a little sad that the holidays are over too, but in a way i am not because i am looking forward for June to get here so I can get married already!!!
