So sad/lonely....

FH just left with his family to go out to Missouri to see his sister and his new niece....I can't go because of work...and I am not so fond of my FSIL...but that's another story!



I'm already so sad/lonely...we're never apart for more than a day or so. I have no idea how I'll get through until Wednesday....

perhaps it's silly but I'm a wreck.

This is the first time I've been alone for more than like 10 hours since my dad passed away. This is going to be awful....

I know how you feel, my FH went away in March to FL when his uncle passed away, he only went for 3 days..but we haven't had even a night apart in the past 4 yrs...I felt so silly for being so sad that he was going to be gone..but I seriously did miss him like crazy!

Keep yourself busy! I actually went to have my nails done, and my hair done. Then I made some plans with friends to keep my mind off of everything.

You'll get through it..hopefully he'll be able to call you a lot to help pass the time.

Try not to think of it in a negative way...just try to make the best of it!! I know its hard!!

How about think of how great it'll be after seeing him again?? The first hug/kiss..you'll get to have that 'new relationship' feeling again for a few minutes

Plan a little something for you guys to do together when he returns..it'll keep your mind on him in a fun way!

Just to keep yourself busy while he is away....i cleaned out closets/drawers went to the park, read some books, hung out with some old friends that i never really have the time to see them....next thing you know he will be home again......it is hard to be away from FH, but tiw ill make you appreciate him that much more when he is back....hang in there and fm me or talkt o all the liw ladies when you feel lonely....someone is always on here

You need to first off change the way you are thinking of this time alone. It will NOT be bad unless you have it in your mind to be bad.

What are some things you have wanted to do and haven't? Have you wanted to watch Beaches and FH makes fun of the fact that you shed so many tears watching it? Did you want to do your nails, but the smell bothers FH?

Think of something you have wanted to do around the house, do some reading. Is there a book you've wanted to read? Can you go through 800 bridal magazines this weekend & rip out floral pictures??

There will be some low points & for that - we are here for you - but you can't go into this weekend KNOWING it's going to be bad...

(I should note that FH has no issues with the above listed items, was just throwing ideas out there...oddly enough - he kinda likes the smell of me doing my nails...but he's a weird man..)

I felt the same way last weekend when FH was away. Sitting around the apartment most of the weekend just made it 10 times worse.

How long will he be away? If you want we can go to dinner or something one night.

Definitely get some sleep and come to the gtg tonight.

We are having people over for a bbq and my nephews b-day tomorrow. Stop by if you are bored. Im sure you could fine 100 better things to do, but the invite is there...LOL
