so someone tried to break into my car

FH and I decided to go to the movies this afternoon. We went to Lowes in Stony Brook and when we get out FH had a hard time opening the passenger side door. He looks down and the lock on my dooor is missing and the handle is all messed up. WE reported it to management and the guy tells us that someones cd system was stolen from their truck earlier in the day. Then when the police officer came, he told us that this has happened numerous times at the same location within the last few weeks. Anyways I just needed to vent.

Does anyone know any places in suffolk that I can get my door lock replaced???

yikes, scary stuff. my fi cousin was robbed at that location. he was robbed by a group of kids by knife point. poor cousin is only 17 years old and had like 5 bucks in his wallet. they took his id and told him they know where he lives if he reports it. yikes. i wouldn't go to that theatre, even though its the closest one to me. then again my cheap radio was stolen from my car (window broken to do it) right in front of my basement apartment in selden, so i guess you're not safe anywhere. ~lacey
