So stressed

So I ordered my dress from a store in Brooklyn with an arrival date of 5/2....

My friend also got her dress from there for a destination wedding she is having in April...she went to go get her dress yesterday and they told her THEY ARE CLOSING!!!!

Nobody called or emailed me. The women told my friend that she is closing down and going to work from her house!!! No notice to me, no calls...I tried calling the store and their number is disconnected. I tried emailing her and haven't heard back yet...getting worried, stressed and annoyed!!!

I am so sorry that you have to deal with this!!! I would be stressed out too! So it's not even open to even pop up at? WOW, so you really have to depend on this woman to call you back now. I am so sure that everything will be fine, she couldn't leave all these brides that have paid hanging.

I'm so sorry Lana :( You don't need that kind of stress! Do you know someone possibly that might know her personally and can give you her contact information? I would give it another few days, and if you don't hear back, see where else you can get a dress in the mean time, and then fight to get your money back. In the end, it will all work out!

I would start looking into alternate options...this may be a far stretch but what if you called the designer of your gown and told them the situation

Did you friend get her contact info from her house? If the store is close but she will work out of her house, she may still have all of your stuff organized.

If you can't get in touch with her, I would call the designer directly

did u pay by credit card? it might be possible to put a stop payment on the charge.
