So Stressed!!! Any teachers who can relate?

I had the worst day at work today -
i had a homeroom coverage, a regular coverage and i had to cover my whole class today (usually i get half the class)
i dont know if its because of the time of year a=or if they are just downright insane! im so stressed right now!

Rich just told me the same thing...he has an inclusion room, and the assistant was out sick...a poor kid had a mini emotional breakdown, etc...

oh man, I had such a crappy coverage today too... keyboarding! there was just no way a keyboarding class was going to focus on work without their teacher there...

I had a chat with one of my classes today where I basically told them 'look, I know you want to go outside and play, but so do I, so you're just going to have to deal or I'm going to have to start handing out detentions.'

it worked a little... kind of... oy.

yeah the worst part is, i have MS, so they are at the age where their answer to everything is 'yeah, so what. you cant tell me what to do' its so aggravating!!!

I can relate...this time of the year is super crazy. Hang in there, less than 30 days till schools out

I feel your pain. A seventh grader in the cafeteria cursed me out when I asked her to give another girl back her I-Pod.

Ugh I can't imagine spring fever with teens and pre-teens! I posted yesterday about what a tough day I had with the little ones...they were MONSTERS!

I totally feel you right now!

June couldn't get here soon enough!!!

Spring Fever - I work in several districts and all the kids are the same - itching for summer vaca - the good weather makes them insane.

Seems like stress seems to running rampant in these schools. I was testing for 7 periods yesterday. Then today, I told my AP I'm taking my two preps today (I'm in middle school) which she agreed on due to the horrible day I had yesterday. Then today I watched as my class entered my classroom w/o supervision. I ask the person doing coverages, if she found someone to cover my class of which she said 'NO' and it was too late, so I ended up covering for them....and BTW, she refused to give me a coverage slip! I will be handling that matter tomorrow w/ Union representation...'cuz I don't play that! To make things better, I was in the building until 5:30pm trying to finish the yearbook, so that the students can have something nice they can be proud of! W T F....ungrateful basssssstards!!!!

YES I can relate. When the weather gets nice they get CRAZY. So hyper and they won't shut up for 2 seconds. Also so many fights! I'm a dean in my school as well and there's not one moment's rest in that office.
Just think... one more month!!!

oh man the kids are OUT OF CONTROL!!!!! i thought it was because of the full moon but now i'm thinking it's the beautiful weather---gotta admit----i'm having the worst case of spring fever myself...i just want to stay home do wedding stuff and wear my gown all day long ahahhahaa

im soooo tempted to take a mental health day lol but i need to save up my days for the HM and other wedding realted stuff
