I was TOTALLY surprised...he gave it to me on Christmas Day (to me its still the eve bc it was at like 12:04 am. Anyway he put it in an ornament, that said 'will you marry me?' the ring was inside then he got down on one knee and asked me...![]()
Yeppp...I am going to hang it on the tree every year!

I got engaged 2 days after Valentine's day. We didnt really do anything on V day since it was the middle of the week and we were both working so we ate chinese food and spent the night together at home. I told him that Saturday I would oook him dinner so I really had no idea what he had planned. All day that saturday I was looking in every cook book imaginable to cook a nice dinner, I finally pick what Im gonna make and start cooking. While Im cooking he calls to tell me he's gonna be an hr late which is really unsual for him, hes always on time so I'm like okay.(getting upset cause I started cooking and didnt want to food to get cold) Finally he shows up, nothing unusal. We eat and I clean everything up and then he takes out a poem and this wasnt a surprise cause he always writes me poems, reads it, takes the box out (which was on the chair the whole time during dinner) and proposes!!! It was very exciting

No! I had no idea.. he then told me he carried the box from the closet to the kitchen which is 2 seperate rooms and I had no idea!! I guess I was too busy cooking

Mine came right after the Giants won the Super Bowl! We are both big Giants fans... I totally thought it might have been happening then,... but I did not have any faith in Eli to pull through and get the win! Now we have to name our next dog Eli... which I thought was such a safe bet at the beginning of the season... 'Sure we can name the new dog Eli if they win the Super Bowl' WHO KNEW!

I made chicken piccata and stuffed peppers that were soo hot we were both chocking lol and for dessert zepollis that I never ended up making lol
