but Macy's Registry has a 'thank you manager' that shows you who bought what off your registry. Let's just say I am in awe at who bought my Waterford Toasting Flutes but SO excited to get them!

That IS evil. But at the same time, maybe they shouldn't give that info to you before the wedding.

Even thought I know what has been bought off of my registry, the fun is guessing who gave it to you.

It will still be fun to receive the gifts, and for what it's worth, I believe the are an engagement gift. We will probably get them sooner than later.

I noticed a few other items came off my BBB registry, and have no idea who bought those. So, there's SOME element of surprise.... and that's enough for me.
