Tonight is our first pre-marriage counseling with our Pastor. This is essentially pre-cana they just call it something else. What should I expect? Should I be nervous?? What is asked of us? I know this sounds stupid but our Pastor knows us very well but he doesn't know that we already live together and obviously sleep together. Are these questions that will come up? I don't want him to be disappointed in us.
Also, before we go meet our Pastor we are dropping off the Invitation Envelopes to the Calligrapher!! So today is an exciting day!! It is all happening so quickly! YAY!

well..we started pre-cana last thursday and it was awesome...just a group of 12 couples and a counselor sat and discussed communication and how we interact with each other. I found it very helpful and intersting. he talked about setting expectations together on what we think our roles in the marriage is and that we should talk about all these things before we walk down the aisle...knowing what we want in the future and knowing how to remain individuals even though we are becoming one...

Dont worry... really! I was nervous also, but now we are down 5 out of 6 classes and time flew! It was also fun! I think that you will be pleasantly surprised!
