i have 7 points on my license.

does that effect me leasing a car

how many points get dismissed if i take 1 of those courses?

It should have nothing to do with you leasing a car.

Take a class and get 3 points removed

9 points and they suspend your license... SLOW DOWN GIRL!!!!!!

Not sure if it will affect your lease, but it does affect insurance rates. I think they knock off 3 points if you take a defensive driving course. You can do it online.

Your credit score will affect your lease terms. If you have a high score then you wont have a prob leasing. If you have NO scredit score, you will need someone to co-sign.

I might know a guy for the point reduction classes if u know what i mean

if you don't have enough credit to lease a car, you will have to get it co-signed otherwise your payments will be through the roof. Tier 1 is the ideal credit score, which has been raised to a credit score of 760+......if you do fall into tier 2 or 3, thats fine, but your payments will be higher than if you fell into tier 1. If possible, have DH co-sign for you to keep your payments small

THAT was 7 points??? That is INSANE.

I was going 30 miles over the speed limit in a construction zone and the whole thing was 6 points. (this was many many years ago)

I think that you only have to worry about getting insured and that may just make it sky high

It will not effect you leasing a car. I work for a dealer. You license is really only used to register the car. If your license is suspended you won't be able to register the car in your name but other than that you should be fine with leasing and registering the car.
