Steph loves it. Only Side effect for him is he relaxes A LOT. It makes him really mellow.

My mom get nauseous on it.

if youre nervous about your reaction only take half...

everyone is going to react differently... i know people that you cant even tell some people you can tell they are totally doped

As long as you don't OD, the only side effect is pain-free bliss. Might I ask... why?

ETA: ITA with Ang though- only take half at first and if in a 1/2 hour you're still in pain, take the other half.

Is it bad that I used to take that for cramps?

both my parents are fine on it.

um.. it nearly killed me when I was younger. the hospital prescribed me the smallest dosage and told me to split it in half and take one when I wake up and one after dinner/before bed... yea day 1 took it... stomach was NOT Happy and I got tired, I was in 8th grade (wow forever ago) and had a hard time in class... then that night, prob the best sleep of my life! but day 2... yea, sat in class, woke up in the nurses office. I totally blacked out and smacked my head on the floor. it was so embarrassing! I threw up when I came to, and supposedly I was out for like 20 minutes, my teacher carried me to the nurses office. they called my house and I was rushed to the dr. where I was told.. no more vicodin.
but remember, when I was in 8th grade I was about 4'6 and only weighed about 82-88lbs, so it was stupid of them to prescribe it to me.. but I was injured BADLY.

but yea, take half... see how you react. make sure there's someone around you and you plan on being home or at least not driving yourself.

That does happen sometimes, but just like with antibiotics, try to take it with food. Granted, it's your tooth hurting, but try and eat like apple sauce or a shake or something with it.

And definitely NO driving!

it does nothing for me, just makes me a little mellow and pain free,....i can't eat on it though..

If your gonna try it then I would recommend to try one tonight while your home. You don't wanna take it before work tomorrow and then find out that it makes you dopey or nauseous. Everyone reacts differently to it. I myself never tried it but I've seen people be fine on it and then others throw up from it and get really sleepy.

Everybody reacts diff, but I don't think it works as well for pain as percocet does. When I had teeth pulled, then developed dry socket (most excruciating pain of my life) I requested percocet. Totally knocked the pain out, felt loopy- like couldn't drive, but could function normally otherwise. Loved it! Its a godsend, however, narcotics make u constipated, so take colace/stool softner if needed. I get the same response from pts too. Vicodin doesn't help much (at its low/most common dose)
