Had my final dress fitting tonight as did my mom. My mom tries her dress on and I nearly freak out b/c the front of the dress is about 2 inches shorter than the back. WHAATT!!! SHe says she can fix it, I know she can but what the heck?? Then I go to inspect my dress before putting it on and there is a tear in the lace on the bodice. I start crying because I am so stressed at this point and she reassures me that it can be fixed and that it is pretty common for the lace to tear because of the delicate fabric. I think the stress has officially become too much to handle. Please pray that they can fix my mother's dress. I am so worried about the length difference.

wow im sorry to hear of that. im sure once they fix it , it will look perfect. I understand where you are coming from, i would be the same way. all you can do now is just wait and assume that they will do a good job fixing it and make sure they know it caused you unnecessary stress

I know...I have faith in her work most definately...but nonetheless...it was enough to push me over the edge. We are supposed to pick up the dresses three days before the wedding. If they are perfect, we take them home...if not...then there is only three days before the wedding.

Jaime, remember Janna's dress?? It was 3 inches longer on the sides and the back than in the front, and the entire skirt was crooked. Phyllis fixed it and Janna looked gorgeous on her wedding day! Have no fear, you dress and your mom's dress will be fine!!

Oh sweetie!!! I'm sure they'll be able to fix it. This can't be the first time this has ever happened where they won't be able to have it ready. I'm so sorry this had to happen. The last thing you need right now is unexpected stress! Let me know if you need anything.
