So upset

Long vent beware *sorry*

Ok as u ladies now I have a mean awful FSIL. Treats me like ****. Well FH and I have two pups and every Monday he is off and I work so he brings them to his ***** sisters to play with the kids,. First I don't want himdoing that if she can't treat me like a member of her family I don't want my doggies there. She treats me as though I m some girl he found off the street. Well my pup got her shots this Saturday and all day she was very warm and whenever u lifted her or she went to walk she cried she had flu like pains. They told me that's normal if she vomits in the next two days bring her. Well I wake up this AM to 5 piles of vomit all over my room. I couldn't get the day off SO I said can u please take her to the vet do me a favor. He works a lot so generally relaxes on day off. I said please do me a favor says the dogs fine ur nuts. Well his ***** sister dials the phone for his niece and she asks for him to bring puppies over. As I am in the car waiting for him to take me to train he comes out with the dogs to bring them there!!!!! I m like u wont take her to vet but ur taking my sick dog to their h hosue where these little beats r gonna touch her and want to hold her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He eventually took her but he gets me from train and the dogs are still there! Is he serious no one fed them all day!!!

This all may seem nuts but it's like I ask one thing and he says no immediately. Lats night I made him dinner I never ask for help with anything is he kidding!!! U won't do that but u'll bring them to see her kids!!!!!!!!! I cried all morniing nervous he wouldn't take her to vet and she was so sick. This seems so weird to u guys I guess but his family is such a nightmare and today he just upset me from the mornign I got up I actually was ready to end everything I was lik is this what's gonna be forever?????

We are still not talking he dropped me off and went home. Just so sad

awwww I'm sooo sorry this happened. I'm sure everything will be fine but you definitley need to let him know how u feel. U were honest with him and he needs to understand your point.

aww hunny, I'm so sorry, I have dogs too I know how you feel about your babies. Talk to your FH have a heart to heart with him. Tell him how you feel. I hope things work out and your puppies feel better!

first of all, you did NOTHING wrong. Your doggies are your kids, soon to be both your kids. It DEFINITELY should have been his responsibility to take the pup to the vet since you couldnt get off from work...
So when you have kids hes not going to take them to the doc when they're sick bc its his day off You have all the right o be mad at him. You're wishes for the safety of your baby weren't met...

You two need to sit down and talk about responsibilites and how he should take your side and protect your from his family since you will be his wife. This needs to be cleared now before you get married or else its only going to get worse

I'm so sorry hun. I hope when you talk to FH, he can understand why it IS a big deal that he didn't take care of your pups when they were sick. If you had sick kids, would he let them go to a friend's house to play??? I hope everything works out, and I really hope your doggies are better.

Couldn't have said it better!!!

You have every right to be furious and hurt about this. My doggie comes first in my house, sometimes before FH! What everyone else is saying is right - you need to talk with him. Sometimes people who have never had a dog or who raised their dogs differently just don't understand and he might not realize that it upset you that much. But if this is part of a larger issue involving FSIL that needs to come out in the open so your dogs don't get stuck in the middle again!
