That happened to me in Dec 2006. They got my iPod and all the car accessories to go with it, some DVDs i bought for my lil sis for christmas, MY work badge.. and some other things i cant remember.. But they didnt just try to break my window (which was really not a big deal to fix), they also tryed to jimmy it, leaving scratches all around the window and i guess use a crow bar to pop off the lock which left a big hole in my door and broke the lock. I guess i was the 'test' car cause 2 weeks later they came back and broke into my sisters car, my tenants car and two other cars on my block..

Dont leave anything of value in your car ever.. Not even locked in the glove box. My tenant had a portable dvd player locked in his and they pryed it open to steal it.

sorry to hear that. good thing you guys had GPS with you in another car and nothing valuable left in car.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that wrote something to make me feel better today! It definitely made me cheer up a bit! I got my windows fixed, and I feel much better. Just a crazy day of inconveniences, but it definitely could have been worse! Thanks again girls!

Im sorry this happened to you.... I hope things get better for you!!

2 months ago they did the same thing to the guy that lives upstairs from me... Then just last month right after I got engaged someone stripped my car. They stole all my tires, rims and wheels off my car and left it sitting on blocks!!! Is that not crazy!! It was in my driveway just about 5 feet from my window.... totally freaks me out!!

It is such a violating feeling. Now I am paranoid all the time that they are going to come back... or worse try to get in my house. yikes!!
