I really dont know what I didn't like. I just didn't feel good! It was so much dress, and I felt really wide!

Hun, I literally JUST went through this exact same thing! I've been a health nut, going to kickboxing class 4-5x a week, and my dress was THREE inches too tight ... imagine how fat I felt! Then they want me to go a size up, and throw me a plus size dress - I've never been plus before! We were able to come up with a solution, we are adding a corset back to my dress so I can still fit - $210 just to fit in my dress! I started to think my dress was hideous!

They say that beauty is only a few beers away, right? Let's get drunk and THEN try our dresses on!

my dress is a corset! The thing is the next size up is huge! Even the people in the store were like how the hell is this too small? The seamstress was going to measure it to if the desinger effed up but seriously it doesn't even matter. The wedding is less then a month away! This is my dress no matter what! I'm just hoping I was in a bad mood and my not fitting is what made me so upset! Next time I put it on and it fits I hope I fall in love again!

I cried after my first fitting because I didn't like my dress on me. When I went back for my second fitting, it was like 'AHHH okay THIS is why I picked it!!!' I think the pressure of the 1st fitting is a lot, so now that you have time to step away and then see it again I bet you'll feel better about it.

I haven't seen my dress in nearly a year-
when I chose it - it was brand new- now I've seen TONS of brides in it- and yet I'm stuck with it.
It's been in storage at the salon for a year now and my first fitting is august 6th.

I'm terrified that I'm going to hate my dress after all this time.

Meghan, I went through something similar. I tried it on and really liked it, but then when I saw the pic that my bm took I almost hyperventilated. Like what was I thinking? I look huge in this dress! What am I gunna do? This is awful!

But then I put the pic away. And I came back to it. And then I put it away, and came back to it. And, you know, after a while I was like, maybe its not so bad. And then even later I said you know what, I love it! This is MY dress and I fell in love with it all over again for the same reasons I loved it when I chose it.

I think for me, when I saw MY dress for the first time, not the sample but MY dress, I might have been picturing one thing in my head, and when it wasn't quite that, I freaked out.

Give yourself sometime to 'get used to it.' I bet you will fall in love with it again

i left my last fitting MISERABLE...i had to hold back tears bc i didnt want my mom to know how unhappy i was since she is paying for my dress. well after a sleepless night i called the store and made another appt and am going back on thursday!

i am sure you look beautiful, but if you arent happy , dont settle! you are paying enough for your dress have them fix it to your liking

ps - i felt wide too!!!!

i know this is so cliche but stay positive! You chose the dress for a reason, and once the fitting is worked out Im sure all those great feelings you had when you bought it will come back!!! You're gonna look great!
