So as i posted before, I'm going to start the hunt for a wedding dress soon...and i sent out an email to my mom and two sisters that I will be setting up apts soon. I let them know that they will be during the week, 1. it will be less crowded and 2. at least with the Kleinfeld's website, it seems they only do them on tuesday and thursday. Well, my sister works at the Bronx Zoo...and has taken a few days off recently because she has been ill (recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which makes sense and is why she has been feeling like poop)...and she can't take more days off. And then my other sister has an internship until 630 everyday...... At least with Kleinfeld's their latest apt is 645... Looks like i'm going alone.....

Awwww I would call Kleinfelds just to double check that they dont do weekend appointments.

Definitely call and ask about the appointments...I'm sure kleinfelds is where you want to go but maybe you could make a weekend appt somewhere else so you can be with your family...good luck

Yea, I saw Kleinfeld's has weekend apt in Nov...which is OK. My big issue is that I want to avoid crowds by going on a weekday....oh well

Aww Angela that sucks I know going during the wkday is soooo much better but if it means having some of your family with you maybe consider a wknd? I know Kleinfeld's def has appts avail for Nov on the wknd. I was actually looking into it myself today. I might make an appt some time in Nov.
A place like RK Bridal who doesn't do appts should def be done during the wk (if you plan to go there).

Aww I'm sorry :( What about going with just going with your mom and if you find something, bring your sisters back with you? I don't know if it's something you want to do or not though. I don't have any sisters, so I'm not really sure if that would be an option.
Also, silly question, but where in the Bronx Zoo does your sister work? One of my BMs has worked there for years! She works with the gorillas.
