I am so upset...I am the type of person that is well prepared for anything way in advance...I had my girls order there dresses in May, I wanted them to come in on time with time for error! Well I get a call today from the dress place...I call her back and I said 'I was wondering when the dress will be in'. She says 'I didn't order them so and so never paid me'. She paid her and they never recorded the payment....She apologized up and down but that doesn't help...they weren't ordered till today!!! The projected date for arrival is 10/1...a month before the wedding what if something isn't right! GRRRRRRRRRR I am so upset...to add the topping on the cake my friend paid cash and if she doens't have a receipt I don't know how they will track her payment...since they didn't mark it down on the order!!!!

Don't worry, everything will be OK!! A month is plenty of time for fittings and alterations!! And if anything is wrong then you make the shop rush them in at their expense since they messed it up!!

That s*cks. I'm sure they will be in way before then. They normally cover their a**es and tell you some far off date. But hopefully they track your BM money order; if not that's BS.

I am just upset because I went in May why hasn't she said anything sooner!!! Whatever I am sure it will work out...and my bm if she doesn't have her receipt I don't care she is soooooooo not paying again.

Seriously, don't worry All my BMs got their fittings done a month before the wedding, even a little later. One BM had lost a ton of weight (40 lbs) so she had a lot of alterations done. It was fine! The place generally took 2 weeks, so even if there was a problem there was still time to fix it.
