SO UPSET - long

I went for what I thought was going to be my 'first fitting'. Mind you I called the store and asked them what I needed to bring with me..and they said..you don't need to bring anything. I didn't listen..and brought my veil. Turns out...all they wanted was the balance of the dress. Why not just say that? I got to try on my dress w/my veil..but the woman was rushing me, which I didn't appreciate! To top it off..she had the EFFIN nerve to tell me that the dress fit..when it CLEARLY did not! I noticed..they brought me to a completely different part of the salon..which I assume is where the brides go when their dresses are in. There was a sign posted listing prices for everything from Bustles to buttons. The french bustle costs $175!!!!! Can you believe that? I paid SO much money already for my dress..and now I have to pay for the bustle as well. I assumed it would be included..because seriously who wants to carry their train around? Granted..I know it's a french one..but I find that price to be very high. To add to that..the woman was trying to convince me to buy my crinoline their because get this...'if I get it from anywhere else..it will be different'. WHAT? It's a crinoline lady..and they are ALL the same. Talk about wanting to scam me!! I told her politely..that's ok, I'll get mine elsewhere..and I'm sure it will be fine. But when it came to the dress and her saying it fit...I wanted to smack her. It was so obvious that it didn't fit..I don't know what her deal was. I also heard the words you and weight..come out of her mouth. I don't knwo if she said you will lose weight..or you need to lose weight..but I was shocked. I lost weight and she made me feel as if I was obese!!

Anyway..long story short..I ended up paying the balance ..but realized I brought the wrong checkbook with me..and wrote a check that won't get cashed because my name is not on the account. It was FH's personal checking account.. I called them and told them I was going to cancel the check and reissue another one. The lady said it would be fine...but is expecting me to bring it on Monday. WRONG!!! Since they lied to me about this being my 'first fitting'...I am going to make them wait..because before I left the store..they told me...'ok so we will call you the first week in August to schedule your REAL first fitting'. WHAT!!!! I guess that's what they get for being GREEDY!!! TAKE THAT BRIDALS BY ROMA!!! All in all..the best part of this day..was seeing the BM's dresses. They are absolutely gorgeous!! THE END

i dont knwo about the other stuff.as far as themoney and crignole...but lying to you about your first fitting?? i would be sooooo mad!!!!!!!!!
