So upset (UPDATE)

I just called Duet to make an appointment, I really love their work...and they don't have my date available

Anyone know of a photographer with similar style and pricing?

UPDATE: I just got an email from Duet - I had been in touch with Sue and I emailed her just to double check that the date was taken (b/c the girl I spoke with on the phone sounded like she wasn't paying attention to me, ha!) and they do have my date available for photo and video service. What they didn't have available was a photo only service! So I am going to see them Saturday!!!

I also am going to look at 12th Night and has anyone heard of Photography In Style - their work looks amazing!!! They're in Massapequa.

I'm not exactly sure how close they are as far as photography style goes..but I booked Thomas Paul and I also liked Duet...and TP is very reasonable.

hmm...i am not sure since i didnt visit duet...but maybe the velvet studio??? thats who i am using...they are reasonable. I will be happy to give you more info, if you want to FM me.

Sorry for the disappointment, but there are a LOT of great photographers out there!!!

awwwwwww i'm sorry you will find another one you love. maybe it's a blessing in disguise you may find a better deal elsewhere for just as good quality

I'm using TP who I love and I like DUETS work as well. I didn't check out Velvet but I liked what I saw on their website. Good luck!

I can only imagine how upset you are right now. As another poster said, maybe you'll find someone you love even more than Duet.

I'm not sure what Duet's price is, but I thought Artisan's pricing was very reasonable. We met with Chuck, who was very friendly and informative. We liked their work a lot, but we decided to go with Paul Marino. Some of the other brides here mentioned him and we hit it off with him right away and his work looks amazing.

I'm a DUET bride but I heard that Thomas Paul and 12th night are similar- I also am VERY impressed with the quality and style of Angelica Glass- if there was no such place as DUET, I probably would've checked with her, I have NO idea about her pricing though. HTH

Im using Thomas Paul but, I also checked out Velvet, Leli and Duet. I was going to check out 12th nite and Silver Fox. I have a friend's husband that does photography, he is on The Knot. i can ask her what his prices are if you'd like.
