So we goofed... and I need your help

We started making our registry last year after we got engaged. We never knew what our kitchen would look like. We got a coffee maker and a toaster last year as engagement presents.

So right now, I have random black coffee maker, white can opener, silver/black toaster , off-white micro (in the unit).

Here is the toaster we have now that I am in love with:

Here is the random black coffee/espresso machine:

Here is a pic of the nasty kitchen. We are going to paint, but as you can see, the cupboards are ivory with a wood finish. What color small appliances would you do? Bear in mind, I can not find a coffee maker with espresso machine that is WHITE....

I would keep with the stainless/black.

It's easier to match and interchange.

Also, I find white appliances change color after a few years.

OMG.. You are too funny!! The kitchen is that bad!!! I think you should go with the black & stainless steel.. It goes with everything.

I had a simlar issue- I had other things already- like my stand mixer- that I got for free ( I work in the housewares industry)

so I am doing Stainless steel and black

so I am doing Stainless steel and black

i registered for my stand mixer (i don't even cook!) in the silver chrome-color....

i just was stupid and added this white can opener and i think a couple of other white stuff.....

but i do love shopping, and especially returning and buying new things..........

I don't either, I never used it- and I am thinking about getting a new one in a differnet color- I love shopping way too much

We registered before we got our place too and our basic decor here is neutral on the brown/beige side rather than black. All of our stuff is black and stainless from the registry and its fine.

Stainless and black for sure. It goes with your espresso maker and fabulous toaster (ours is very similar) and just looks great.

our cabinets are ivory and wood too....there used to be almond appliances, but we recently put all stainless and black and it really works well with the cabinets......plus it will help pull the rest in as well

Since you are lucky enough to have tons of cabinets, you can keep the black and just store it away. Pull it out when the company comes over and reclaim your counter space.
