No, it's not wrong at all... if no one wants to buy it for him, it'll stay on the list, and you can buy it at the end... no worries...

You can only get so many dish towels and gravy boats. I say go for it. I know of a lot of people who put things like that on their registry.
I'm a recent Xbox widow....he's on it right now as a matter of fact. I remember when we used to cuddle on the couch..........

well we've bought a lot of stuff already, and since we're going to be moving in together after the engagement party, we didnt want to register for decor and stuff because we wont know colors yet. we're only registered for like, 12 things for now. figure if someone asks, we'll tell them, if not we wont

gift registries are so unconventional these days so i think its fine to register for a couple of unique items. it gives your friends and fam a range of ideas to choose from.

I think it's great that you registered for some stuff already!! Maybe I'll register after the e-party invites go out. I wouldn't worry about the xbox. People can chip in for it or they can leave it.

I dont think its wrong. Its what he wants and usually everything on the registry is picked by the girl. Even if it just sits on the list, at least its there and someone can pick it up if they want, possibly his friends
