SO Wendy....does Sambuca have a home??

No ... I had to stay strong. I feel like I'm making excuses but it's just not a good time. Aside from the fact that we both are out of the house for 11 hours, we are going away after Thanksgiving and will be having about 25 people over at Xmas.

I do feel terrible.

The worst part of all this 'IT MUST BE FATE' is, I came up from the basement last night and on the stairs were chewed up bits of a box of ant baits. Max (our choc) was laying on the couch chomping away on POISON. I totally freaked, did my best to get what he had away from him. Tim grabbed our doggie first aid book and we had no peroxide to give him to induce vomitting so I jumped in the car and sped off to CVS (two mins away).

I was beside myself that the FATE was we were going to lose Max and Sambuca was going to make 'THREE GREAT PUPS'.

Long story short, he's fine. Animal poison control was more concerned with the plastic bits of the bait than the amount of poison. Max has been known to eat all sorts of non-food items, so if the plastic was the biggest threat, there really was no threat for him.
