So, what do you think?

Went for my makeup trial and I'm not sure about it. I don't usually wear much makeup so I was shocked at first and then it slowly grew on me. I don't want to shock all my friends but people say for the pictures the makeup needs to be like this.

What do you think- is it OK or too much?

I really like your lips and cheeks. Not a big fan of the way she did your eyes tho -- I'd go with a different, more subtle color (especially since you normally dont wear much makeup).

I agree, the color she used on your eyes is almost too much, I would use something softer. But otherwise I love the rest of it

Hmm, well I think - and this can be because of the picture - that there is too much blue shimmery stuff on the top part of your eye. I would do something more dramatic on the lid and keep the color softer towards your brow bone. I would work with browns and golds on your face and stay away from the pastels. I would LOVE to see a more smokey eye on you. I think you can pull it off. I would also define your brows a bit more. it will pull your eyes visually up. - add some highlight in the tear duct and underneath the eye to brighten it.

ETA: False lashes!!! Yes, you need some UMPH in the lash area and you can have her either use a good lash extender mascara OR use false lashes. I love the false ones. She can use single ones or a full row depending on what would look best for you. It's such a great look for most women and you have a nice long face that could handle some truly dramatic lashes. NOT drag queen lashes! Not all fake lashes are huge and scary - some small feather like ones that add length and volume but look like you!

Good call on the false lashes..I think you are exactly right!! It will add that that extra 'something!'
