I'm actually dying to wear this pair of shoes that I've only worn once before. They're brown and kinda strappy. Would go great with a pair of jeans but that seems to be a no no so I'm thinking maybe kahakis! Who knows!

I'm thinking that if the jeans are nice looking and if I wear a really nice top and shoes it may be OK. If it doesn't look sloppy I can't imagine them turning us away.

sorry... you sound like my friend.. she went on a date last night and emailed me what I think she should wear with jeans.. I said a nice shirt.. she was like..ummm thanks I'll look for you in your nice shoes!!!
