First thing this morning (I just started posted in another thread) I mailed all of my invitations! I went to Wrap with Us to try and go look at a favor I'm thinking about and some other things. In between a couple of other errands, I came back home and made a few calls (limo, shuttle, etc). And, I'm getting ready to run to the mall to try and look at something for my BMs. Oh, and doing laundry in between.

Yes, that's why I tried to get a few things done since I was out so early. I should have kept going right to the mall. I feel like it's late already and I keep hearing how hot it is. I hate dealing with crowds and traffic, so I try to avoid it when I can.

Me too!!! Here in Lancaster, I RARELY go near Rt. 30, during summer hours!! Too many tourists!!! I'm glad I know back ways to places, but sometimes, the minute I take a backway, I run into road construction!!!!! Mary MOB

we were supposed to go to visit FH's family in NJ and bring my parents along but my puppy is very, very sick We brought her to the vet and he said to keep her home and watch her. What are you up to today?

I ran a lot this week, with Mom to Dr. appts/PT, so I'm just taking it easy!!! Debi called to say she thinks she has amoebic desentery, from their HM. She had 'BN' aka bathroom nonsense, while on the HM, but it continues, so she plans to see her Dr. on Mon. Mary MOB

Thanks, sweetie!!!! I was kidding around yesterday with the nice receptionist at Mom's PT place. Mom's next two appts., this week are at lunchtime, so I said, I'll bring a picnic for us all!!!! Mary MOB

Aw, that's cute! It's hard running around to a lot of appointments. You're mother is lucky to have you. I always feel so badly when I see old people alone with no one to help them.

That troubles me too!!!!!!!!!! I'm on a local Mom's site, and this AM, i posted a passionate opinion about what needs to be done, here in Lancaster Co., for our low income Seniors!!!!! It is my belief that too often, retirement communities and nursing homes here, owned by Christian folks, have lost their focus, in accepting only paying customers who have lots of money, instead of focusing on the 'least among us'. Sometimes, unexpected things, like the premature death of my Dad, can greatly imhibit the widow's social security benefits!! My Mom, who was a stay- at- home Mom, until Dad died at age 43, worked hard as an elementary school custodian, but one year shy of getting a pension, she had to quit from medical issues!! Therefore she is low income, and has very little choice in where she could go, if she could no longer take care of herself!! I would like to care for her at that point, but my house is too small. Lancaster needs quality, afforable nursing homes!!!!! Ok, I will now as some of the girls have said, ' step off my soapbox'!!!!!! Mary MOB

I'm dog sitting for my sister's dog (the one in my picture) while they take my nephew to a medical thing in Philadelphia this weekend. FH is campaigning. I'm just cleaning, doing some stuff on the computer and hanging around.

I ended up making $115. FH made $8 (he's bad at yardsales, he thinks all his crap is worth millions) and my dad made $200!

I'm mostly just glad to clean out some of the old things from my house.

It was SO hot though, I had to lay down after b/c I wasn't feeling so good from the heat
