Though we've picked January I want to shy away from traditional holiday colors.
We're doing varying shades of purple; royal, lilac, lavendar, periwinkle, etc. and touches of brown. Not too much brown, but its in the BM dresses, possible the invites.
My BM dresses are gorgeous....pics in album!

i wanted to so badly to do brown and blue... the color of our eyes! but i haven't chosen my hall yet so i think i have to wait and see what works with the decor!

my colors are blue and yellow, my grandmother favorite colors, its one of the ways i can bring into the wedding.

Fall colors! Flowers will be deep red roses, with some orange, brown and yellow accents. BM dresses will be deep red with brown sashes. MOH will be chocolate brown with deep red sash.

I had the same thoughts with a January wedding. I'm going the purple route too!! My BMs will be in a deep purple/eggplant color, and their flowers will be more lilac and violet. Instead of brown though, I'm going with a champagne. Good taste!

My colors are black and white with the accent color bright pink ... I changed them from Brown and Pink and I am happy with my new colors

we are getting married in december and its going to have a christmas feel - but i dont want our wedding colors to scream christmas - i want more of an elegant, rich vibe for the holidays something opposite the usual red bridemaid dresses with white boks......so far i have taupe bridesmaid dresses with a silver brooch, my dress is ivory with silver beading, and dark red/burgundy floral, lots and lots of candles for both the ceremony and reception......i dont know, its hard for me to pick since my choices are pretty limited
