No...my mom and dad are the only ones I call mom and dad (not to be rude or anything)...I call my inlaws by their first names...and so does my fh with my parents...

I probably won't - right now they get a kick out of me calling them FFIL and FMIL when I email them, ha! It was so funny I had only explained FMIL to FH's mom and then one day I get an email from FFIL and he signed it FFIL!! I was like wow - they catch on quick!!!

My FH has called my parents mom & dad for the last 35 years. He's my brother's best friend since kindergarten...

i dont know about this right now i call them buy their first names and FH calleds my mom and dad MR & MRS Smith (not really my last name lol) so if anything i think he will have to change that good question though

So funny i was just talking to FIL's abotu this. hahaha i said im sorry its hard since for 33 yrs i have 1 mom & dad. Im still calling them by first names as of now. We shall see. I love FHs parents so i dont think after a bit i will have a problem.

I was just having this conversation with my FSIL (his sister) and she said that it is time to stop calling them Mr. and Mrs. and switch to their first names. My FBIL's call them by their first names. I have begun doing it with his mom, I don't know if I will be able to make the transition with his dad.

umm i guess my & dad cause when they are talking to me they refer to each other as mom & dad... for explain when fmil is like go ask dad what he wants to do for dinner... i dont call them that yet but i know i will

I don't know what I call them now. Kinda avoid it. I think they want to be called Mom and Dad and it feels too formal to call them Mr and Mrs. Aack! We shall see.

I still call FMIL and FFIL Mr and Mrs Godin...They are really old fashioned-That would be quite a change. I am unsure what I am going to call them...

I would like FH to call my parents Mom and Dad and I know he is planning on doing it as well, so that kind of means I have to call his parents that too. I don't mind so much with his mom, but I do with his dad.

I have enough trouble calling them by their first names. I would much rather avoid using names and just stick to , 'Hey You...'
