i originally wanted a mantilla veil. I didn't care about the dress. Now that I bought a silk dress, I don't think the mantilla goes. Here is my dress:
My mother pretty much insisted I needed a cathedral length veil, so I bought this one. I love it but still I want something more.
Now looking again at veils, I really love this one, but I don't think it goes:

if you have your dress at the shop i would try on diff veils to see what works out. I honestly can say I am not sure if the lace detail goes with your dress. Not sure though.

My dress is home. It was from a sample sale. I have that first veil at home too.

ugh the same thing happened to me. i LOVE mantilla veils and i really wanted that style.......but the dress i am buying has NO LACE and its A-line, with a gathered bottom and a beaded waist.....so i dont think i'll be able to look at mantillas anymore the style of my dress and a mantiall veil seem to different......ill try them on together when it get closer to the wedding but i think i will have to settle for a different style veil

I think the first veil goes the best, maybe you could add a tier to go over your face. You dont need the mantilla veil. It might take away from your amazing dress!
