so yesterday was our 6 year anniversary...
and I could not have asked for a more perfect day! FH and I both took off from work, he picked me up early in the morning and we went back to his house and slept for a bit, then we got up and went for breakfast. After breakfast we went on a 3 mile stroll through Forest Park and after that we went back to his house where we crashed on the couch watching movies and he made lunch for us.
What REALLY topped the day off though was our dinner at the Fox Hollow. We had went to their restaurant last year for our anniversary and LOVED it so we decided that we would go back (since we had to make a payment anyway). The food was UNBELIEVABLY good. I had lobster and he had salmon. There was a piano player there too who could play anything you requested (really really talented) and he sang too.![]()
Oh and they even comped us a bottle of wine!
All in all it was such a great day and it was so nice to be able to just take a day to spend with FH. I love him soooooo much and sometimes in the everyday shuffle it's easy to forget what it's all about. Which is part of what made yesterday so special for us.
