So, you've heard me whining for the past few weeks, but I finally have....

a house! At least we are in contract!!!!!!!! It's 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, needs some TLC but it's in a great neighborhood, dead end street and a great school district!

It's in Nesconset. The school district is Smithtown.

We already have a list of priorities for what has to be done and then what we want to do. We need to update the electric now and take care of an underground oil tank. After that, we can work on the cosmetics.

We originally were going to buy a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house, but something was structurally wrong with it. The great thing about this house is that it is so big we won't have to move when we start to have kids. It's a house we stay in.

We are so excited, I can't stop looking at furniture. We are thinking of ordering straight from N. Carolina so we can get warehouse prices. We definitely have time on our side. Now all I need is a job!

We had something VERY similar happen to us when we were house hunting...a house we both fell in LOOOOOVE with ended up being not structurally sound. Very upsetting. But the house we have now I wouldn't trade for anything...well maybe if the deal was really sweet
