CAUSE DH GOT A FRIGGIN PS3 TODAY UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he is settign it up and doesnt even hear me talking to him from 3 feet away he is just staring at the tv screen like its the first time he has ever seen one!

Well, actually, Heather, I traded in my Wife job, to be an LIW EXECUTIVE MOB POSTER!!!!!!!!! Ok, I did make a homecooked meal RECENTLY!!!! And there are enough clean towels and dishes to get us through the next day or so, so I'm good!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do miss you, and Kelly, and a lot of the other gals!!!!!! i got one for DH literally 2 weeks after the wedding when the darn Metal Gear Solid package came out. he wasnt even supposed to get one but his brother, cousin and a bunch of his friends did so i felt bad.

Don't worry, give it a couple of months and it will pass. In the meantime, you can buy yourself a game (like Guitar Hero or Rockband) that you can enjoy together.
I've been through this multiple times - whether it's a new game or a new console. A couple of weeks to a month later he'll suddenly look at me and go 'Oh god! I'm sorry! I forgot all about you!'

Oh GOD!!!! My FH has had one since x-mas... All he does with his free time is sit on that thing.. A few nights ago, I asked him what he wanted for dinner, he ignored me... So I asked him again and he said 'ok'... So then I asked him if he wanted to marry his sister and he said 'sure'... They are just 100% oblivious when they play!

OH OH OH I have done this!! It works wonderfuly!!! Cause then wehn he says i don't remember saying that you tell him at what exact point of the game he was on and he says 'Oh OK' because he WILL remember being involved in the game at that point
