Solomon Schecter School

So - I have an interview on Monday at Solomon Schecter in Glem Cove. Does anyone work there or know anything about the school from expereience??? TIA!

I used to work for a company and the President's kids went there. It's considered a very good school. Expensive too...good luck...get em'.

aww thanks...I'll let you know how it goes...I just taught in the ghetto of Philadelphia for 2 years - I could use a good school

Yeah, my ex-boss would only send his kids to a great school. They were also great kids. You will do fine..let us know how it goes. I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

The schecter schools are supposed to be very good. I don't know anything about that one specifically, though.

THat is a jewish private school right???

If so we had a friend who went there growing up... good school!

Yup...I'm excited but the only downside is that is not full time....it would be either 1/3 or 5/6...but either way it has health benefits so i'll take it!

i took a part time teaching position this year because it had the benefits!!! now im praying that it will turn into full time next year (who knows with the budget)
