Please, please, PLEASE try to remember what the whole meaning is behing this major event that you are spending all this time, effort and hard-earned money on.......
After the flowers die, the candles are out, the dress is in a box and the day is over.......there is a marriage that needs to be nutured and cared for.
Please don't get caught up in all this wedding business so much that you lose focus of the real meaning behind your day.

Well stated...and I totally agree!
That's why my wedding day was the best day of my life....I just let it happen and enjoyed every second of it.
Now, its almost a whole year later and I've never been happier!

Its totally true. We get wrapped up in the planning, but when it comes down to it- its a LIFE LONG COMMITMENT that the day symbolizes.. not a cake or a bo-k... Thats probably why Im SO lax on planning.. maybe a little TOO lax?!?!? I'm just like- yeaaa I trust the vendors, they do this all the time.. it'll be nice...

Couldn't agree more. There's a point in planning where you have to step back and take a break to be reminded of what the true focus should be on. Of course everyone wants their day to be perfect, but I always try to stress that nothing matters as long as at the end of the day you're married to your one true love, everything else is just bonus!!

I agree - I must admit - I had my 'Eye on the prize' all thru my wedding planning - and that is - the marriage!
That is why I didn't have the post-wedding blues - itr was fun, but I was more excited about being married - and that lasts for more than 5 hours!!!

it's so easy to get lost in all that planning... the stress can wear on you. DH and i get along sooo much better now that the day has come and gone.
