some advice please.....

So i am finally beginning to make appts. for vendors and we know who we want to go with for most of the vendors but the one thing i am completely lost on is dj's.... i dont even know where to begin. I don't want a DJ that seems to fake or scripted, but i want someone who is really energetic.... any ideas??? Anyone have a dj or two that really stood out for them???

LI Sound. They really are amazing at what they do and they are no BS - they are very professional and are not looking to spend your money and totally work wth your budget to give you what you want. They will be whatever you want them to be - if you're looking for someone who gets out there with the crowd and gets them out of the seats, they can do that. If you want a more low key DJ with minimal announcements, they will do that for you too. I knew they were the DJ for us when I saw them at a showcase.

We used Variety and they were fabulous. Ray was our MC and Danny was our DJ and the package for the two of them for the entire day including ceremony was very reasonably priced! They had lots of extras available but we just went with the basic package (no lighting or photos or tvs or anything). They're a vendor on here so they're easy to find.

Not a lot of people on this site talk about EJ the DJ but they are a preferred vendor of the Crest hollow... I had my engagement party at the CH in February and used EJ the DJ and my experience was wonderful. They did a fantastic job.. Worth a look.
