Some Bittersweet news- I am a little sad and also VERY excited! Not SO wedding related
My cousin and BM just found out she is pregnant. She will be 7 months preggo at my wedding. She generally does not have the greatest pregnancies and is always sick for nearly 100% of her pregnancies. She is a big girl to begin with and with the pregnancy on top of it, she gets anxiety attacks, can't breath and gets very dizzy- especially in summer months. She is still going to be my bridesmaid in my heart and in every sense of the word except she will not be in a dress walking down the aisle. I am so sad, but this is really what is best for her health. She will still be at my wedding, just having to wear a gown, walk down the aisle, ride in a limo and deal with the craziness of pictures in the heat is just going to be too much for her.But the good news is that I am going to be the godmother! She asked me tonight! I am so excited! I can't believe I am going to be a GODMOTHER!!!!!
I am so sad and happy at the same time!!!!

She HATES public speaking! She had to give a speech at her godson's christening (her bro's baby) and she nearly hyperventilated! And she wasn't pregnant at the time either! She suffers from bad anxiety (it runs in our family)But it was a great suggestion

Aww that is so bittersweet, but a baby is a wonderful thing and its so wonderful to hear you will be a godmamaYour wedding day is still going to be perfection with your cousin in attendance, no matter if she is'officially' a BM or not

I'm sorry that she won't be able to be your BM but congrats to her! And being a godmother is great! Yay! The reading idea sounds cool if she is up for it.

I was thinking the same thing!
Don, that is a really good idea. We are in the process of finding out if we can have the mass. Because it is a Sunday we can only have a ceremony, but because the priest marrying us is a friend from another parish they are allowing him to do a mass as long as he is up for it. Basically we are waiting to meet with our priest and work out the details.

yes, we did this at our wedding -- i'm not sure about the sunday thing but hopefully since it is a friend, you can have the mass. We picked family to bring up the gifts for us

Aw, I'm sorry Bri that she can't still be a bridesmaid, but that is awesome that you are going to be a godmother. Congrats!!!!
