Some Friendly Flower advice for you!!

Hi girls,
So I did a couple things really right for my wedding and I thought I'd share to help out. Flowers can get so expensive but I always like the best things, which I'm sure you all can understand! The first places I went to see flowers were Spitz and Peck and Stefan's in Cedarhurst, which of course are the most expensive but gorgeous. I brought my swatches and colors and told them what kind of flowers I loved. They made some mock up designs and quoted a description of flowers and prices. Then I promptly took their descriptions to a much less expensive florist and they created everything beautifully!! (Check out my review for pics). I didn't care if the florist had a fabulous showroom, I cared about the quality and design of the bouquets and arrangements at a fair price. I'm not trying to pay $2000 extra so they can have a 5000 square foot fancy show room!!!
So, my advice: Go to the expensive and 'best' places first to get ideas to bring to your budget friendly vendors who can do just as good of a job 9 times out of 10!!!!

Happy planning!!!

Thank you for the suggestion. I'm a big fan of the smaller quality florist shops, too. FH's godfather has a florist shop, and he has some of the best qulity flowers I've ever seen!
