Some invitation tips from an old timer.

Order extra invitations, you may have some mistakes with calligraphy, addresses etc.

On the RSVP card, number them so you know who they are coming from. You will be surprised how many people send back card with a # but no name.

If your guests share an address, like an adult who lives with parents, put C/O on the address. I mailed an invitation to a couple at X address, and a single person at the same address. The single persons invitation came back to me, and the PO told me it was b/c I did not put C/O.

numbering the RSVP cards is the key! I am going to start to do this over the weekend!

yes # them rsvp's! We got a card back that was actually BLANK yesterday and if we had not #'d the cards, I would not know who I had to call to find out if they were coming or not!

Also, order extra envelopes....yes for caligraphy mistakes, but one thing I did NOT count on was getting invitations returned to us in the mail for wrong addresses!
