Some new house pics

I just took these yesterday, I am so excited its going very quickly, and soon we will be living there.

I love reading all the posts about everyone going into contract, and buying houses! its so exciting!!!

So far, the sheetrock is up, taped spackled, primed.
moldings are going in, and doors are being installed.
Wood floors were installed last month as well.
next steps are tiling and marble and granite, and painting
They also poured the concrete so they can start the pavers around the pool.

Congrats!!! That's great if you could be in there in a month. Then you'll have the next planning phase of your life... furnishing and decorating!!
We are also building, but just closed on the property a few weeks ago and are waiting for our plans to get approved. FH says it'll be done by christmas but I highly doubt it.

Oh wow congratulations!!!!
So exciting! It took about 9-10 months for our plans to be approved by the town so we can build.
plus about 10 months it took to complete building

Thanks! We're building in Queens so I've been told they're much quicker, plus FH is in the business so that really helps (he'll have most people lined up when it's time to break ground). Right now we're just looking for an apartment to live in, in the meantime. All I see now is bills, bills, and bills. It's crazy!!
