Hi everyone! Well, it's been a while since I've posted pictures of Golem - so here are the most recent ones from this past week :) Golem is getting so big!!! He now weighs 27 pounds! We actuallly had to move him out of the little crate this weekend since he's too big for it already! He's back in the bigger crate now, and he LOVES it!!! He was taking his toys in there and playing like a good boy - he made mommy and daddy so proud! Quite a difference fom when he used to try and bolt out of there when it was crate time! He's such a wonderful dog, and he's been so GOOD lately too! Saturday we had 6 people over for dinner and he was loving all the attention! He just kept trotting back and forth between everyone's laps and letting everyone pet him My sister worked at an animal hospital for years, so I asked her if he would be as good with other dogs as he is with people - she said we have absolutely nothing to worry about - he's more interested in being everyone's friend so they can play with him! He's so cute, I love my little boy! So here he is, at 3 months old!

He's so cute! And getting big! Bama is 5 months old and 37 lbs - Golem is only 10 lbs less and 2 months younger!

Oh is he is SO adorable!! I can't wait to show DH the pics!!! They are good with other dogs, as long as you socialize...strange dogs they might be standoffish and overprotective. Bailey loved her big sister and loves playing with her 'cousin' and always wants to meet other dogs when we're out walking, she is never vicious, just overfriendly.....and most people are afraid of her just by looking at her....which makes me SO mad

yay, I'm so glad you all love him too! we've really been taking every advantage of having people over to help with little Golem's socialization. And he's made us very proud! Our next step is other doggies, but the pending play dates are with such friendly dogs that I'm not really worried about him being anything but a playful pup :)
Shana, those people who are just scared of Rotties by looking at them piss me off too. I actually had one person I work with tell me that she's afraid of them because they look so mean.... Um, you know NOTHING about this dog!!!! Golem is such a big mush too - so anyone who could be scared of him is just a moron as far as I'm concerned

That's one of the cutest expressions he has! He kinda tilts his head and looks all quizzical, like 'whaaaaat?' He does it when he hears a funny noise, when he watches TV, or when we are holding something he's not used to looking at (the camera here!) It's so adorable, I crack up every time he does it! Love my little boy!!!!!
We have a female rotti who is 7 and she is the biggest ham ever! She loves to sit right on your lap. We want another so badly, but we can't get one right now. Where did you get yours from?

Your girl sounds liike a big mush too, just like my little boy! He's tiotaly going to be a big lap dog too, he's starting already and he's growing out of our laps even now, but still tries to sit with us like he did as a baby! We went to a breeder in Massachusetts to get Golem - and although it's a drive, Craig and I couldn't be happier with the quality of Rotties our breeder produces. If you want his info, let me know and I will FM you. They are actually expecting their next litter in February.......

OMG - that's so funny! His name isn't John, but what are the odds that both our pups came from MA?! I wouldn't be surprized if our breeders knew each other though - Golem came from Von Scosher Rottweilers, our breeders name is Scott Allen.

OH MY GOD! THAT'S THE DAD I THINK!! Our breeder, John had a 2nd litter w/ Scott Allens pups!! Scott Allen is from LI! I think Golem and my girl have the same MOM!!! When is his b-day??
