Some of my fall crafts I've made

Here's a few pics of recent fall crafts I've made in my local class.

The bird wreath is actually from a few years ago, but it's held up pretty well!

The topiary I made last week in my class - was so easy! I plan to make another for Christmas.

The last wreath is for my front door - I just made it out of extra materials I had lying around. IRL the colors aren't so bright - that's from the flash.

Love the topiary Teri, what a cute idea and love the sunflowers! What will you do to make it Christmas?

thanks everyone!

Stacey - I will probably use pointsettias for the base and top wreath, and add in Christmas picks, berries, etc.

This can be made for almost any holiday

Christine - I take these classes through my local adult ed program. They are so cheap too - $12 per class!

On the topiary, did you make the top of the terra cotta pot? Is that a ribbon?

Stacey, yep, here's what I did:

Inside the terra cotta pot is some stryofoam - then stuck in the dowel (but before that I stuck the dowel to the small wreath and glued down) I then added moss to cover on top of the pot.
Then, I stuck in picks in the back for some height, then sunflowers and grapes...decorated, etc.

That is ribbon along the top of the pot - I secured everything with a hot glue gun :)
