We had Father Jim and I loved him. He made it so personal it was lovely.

We are supposed to have Father Tom. He pressured me into having a mass, and now I don't want one! My friend was married there June 14 and her ceremony was well over an hour, so I can't imagine how long a mass will be. Fr. Tom said if we don't have a mass he will not perform the ceremony so I think we are going to have to have a deacon do it. Not sure who though!

Fr Tom is a nightmare. Run for the hills and just have a ceremony.

JMO but he is the meanest priest I have ever encountered

LOL I totally am sticking to my guns! He asked me why I didn't want a mass, and I had no reason to give him (our 3pm appt at old westbury gardens would NOT have sat well with him!) He told me my dad wants a mass (he does not know my dad) but I agreed to it bc i really wanted to be married by a priest rather than a deacon. Oh well, its all the same right!?

BTW-the Church looked gorgeous in your pics! That made me so happy!
