Some people are so strange...

Strange, rude, or miserable, I can't figure out why some people just say the most inconsiderate just plain f***** up things. I keep in touch with my teaching mentor from college, my cooperating teacher, and on during our conversation she says to me, 'It was nice taking to you, congratulations on your job success and on your wedding' I said Thank you. Then she says to me, 'I always tell people NOT to get married but they never listen, they'll just have to see for themselves'........***!?! How f'in rude! I don't understand some people, she's entitled to have her opinion, but are you serious? .....

I get told stuff like that alot - there are so many ppl that are miserable in this world and just can't be happy for anyone. Don't let it get to you.

i think that it is very hard for people who are in a bad marriage to be happy for someone who is in love and getting married! AND just because she doesnt enjoy being married doesnt mean that you are not going to enjoy it!

Some people are very bitter over there bad experiences and they dont realize that not everyon ewill go through the same thing that they went through. She was very rude, but that sounds like someone that is holding on to a lot of hurt by whatever she has been through. You dont need that negativity and dont let it affect you. Those are her issues not yours

wow, that is just an odd thing to say to someone. clearly she is a very sad person. cant she just be happy for someone?

I know.. I have experienced the same thing.. I was actually at the dentist office and the hygenist starting telling a worker how her and her newlywed husband are so unhappy and she turns to me and says don't get married..it's not too late! And continued to go on about how terrible married life is and having a husband who will turn out to be a terrible person! Yikes!

People are just miserable and unfortunately try to drag everyone into it... I can't stand it anymore.. I have a BM (yes one of my BM's!!!!) that tells me everytime I see her.. I love your FH but dont get married. Needless to say we don't talk much anymore... everyone needs to shut the f up
