My Response Date is May 5th....we're still waiting on responses, my rogue BM who I'm still not speaking to has yet to respond...along with a handful of our nearest and dearest who MUST think I'll just check my crystal ball to see whether or not they're coming......WHAT IS SO DIFFICULT ABOUT WRITING YOUR NAME AND CHECKING OFF WHETHER OR NOT YOU'RE COMING, THE ENVELOPE IS STAMPED AND THE ADDRESS IS ON THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ....rant over.....

Ugh I am NOT looking forward to my RSVP date! I dont understand what is so complicated about putting a piece of paper in an envelope and giving it to the mailman??

UGH it's so annoying!!! My RSVP date is in three days and I'm still waiting on a few. I got a bunch of verbal RSVPs I put stamps on the envelopes for a reason people!!
You'll probably get a bunch this week Otherwise, don't be shy and make those phonecalls!!

I say the same things, I didn't put the stamp on there for my health, just send the darn thing back already, I mean how hard can this POSSIBLY be??? I get an invite, I open it, fill out the response and send it back....not hard, I just expect the same courtesy.....apparently I expect too much!!!!!

I TOTALLY agree!!!! I know my RSVP date is not for another month, but my close relatives and bridal party cant RSVP right away. ***. It isnt like they have to buy a stamp. My brother and SIL(MOH) still havent RSVPed so i called them today and yelled at them. It is beyond annoying and I cant stand it!!!

Sorry you're going through this. I am so guilty though of waiting till the last minute to send out RSVPs. Hope they arrive soon

Aww that stinks! I think everyones going to go through this.. I can personally admit to being guilty of this in the past just assuming close family and friends would know i was coming I'd send it back last minute.. I didn't realize it was a big deal until one of my close friends got married and told me how stressed she was that so many people waited till the last minute and some left her hanging on if they were bringing a guest?! Now with my own wedding coming up I really understand it!! Maybe try and give family and friends a hint if you speak to them! And as far as your BM goes that's plain rude!

Most people are waiting to mail in their card ON the RSVP deadline date. I don't know why.

I sent an email to all non-responders 2 days after the deadline telling them (politely) that I wasn't able to change my headcount beyond this weekend, so I needed their response before then to be included.

It totally worked.

My boss told me the other day at an unrelated meeting, 'You know that my wife and I are coming, right?' I said, 'Yes, but you still need to send in the RSVP. I can't count you until you send in the card. ' 'You mean my wife didn't do that yet?'

But seriously, how hard is it to do? Don't tell me verbally--SEND ME THE CARD!!!

It's true! If yo wanted a verbal response you would have called them, but you printed, addressed and stamped a card. Send it in folks!! I hope I never become one of them, slap me if I do.
