I am so sorry. Please know that all the girls here have been praying for you and your son. I hope that they have the drunk driver and prosecute to the fullest extent! About 5 years ago I lost my cousin to a drunk driver, she was 5 years old and died in her mother's arms almost instantly. Drunk Driving laws need to change! They need to be so much stronger.

This is kinda awkward but my ex-H, (my son's father) was in a bad accident this morning and is in emergency surgery with extensive brain and lung injuries. Please pray that everything turns out okay, not really for me, but for my son. He's only 4 and he really does love his father.

AM update: Just spoke with his mom. They put him into a coma and he is on life support. Today is his birthday too. This is tough. She did let me know that he did get a chance to stop by to give Hunter a hug before he left for the trip. I'm so glad he did. I haven't told him what's going on. It's just kind of wait and see right now.
Update: Just spoke with his mom. The doctors really don't expect him to survive off of life support. Waiting on brain activity test results to come back. Please pray for a miracle.
Final Update: He is essentially no longer with us. The injuries were too extensive. Sometime this afternoon it will be officially stated after the coma meds have passed. He was an organ donor though and will save many lives.
