Some Prayers! UPDATE on Page 2

Friday night, FH and I were having dinner when we got a call from his mother. Now, typically, she calls to check in and see how our week is, etc and just catch up, so I didn't think anything was out of the ordinary. However, FH said 'Is she okay?' and I knew something was wrong.

FH's grandmother had a heart attack and was transported from Mather to Stony Brook Hospital last night. She had 3 stints put in her to help her breathe, but it looks as though she pulled through. But on top of this, she was given 3 months to live b/c the Dr's said her lung cancer has spread to the other lung, and now spread to her bones - she was in the middle of another round of chemo when all this happened Friday.

His grandmother was pushing herself to be well b/c she wants to see her oldest grandson get married and now both are afraid that won't happen!

Please send your prayers to his family!! We could use all the support we could get!

I am so sorry.... but, it's amazing how long people can hold on when they have a reason to!

Oh Betsy, I am so sorry! I can understand. FH's dad is in the hospital. That's it's 3rd long visit since the beggining of year. Went to get 4 stents put in early this year. Redid it 3 weeks ago. Go re-admit again last Monday. Now after passing out after the medications dosage at the hospital they are trying to 'help' him, they are not talking about a pacemaker.

I am sure it is hard for your FH. She will be in my thoughts!
