Where are they getting my # from??? This is intrusive to say the least, esp. since I already have a DJ. Thank God for caller ID, I'm calling her back until her line isn't busy.

I have gotten a lot of junk mail, but I thought it was from a wedding showcase I went to awhile back...hmm...

All my random calls are from the Watermill vendors, and all the junk mail is from here.

change your phone # to a phony # and chose to not receive emails! i believe you unsubscribe at the bottom of on email and they will all stop, or at least thats how they stopped for me! ~lacey

I kept getting the same band calling me every week and leaving me messages inviting me to hear them play. I already told them I'm going with a DJ so I don't know why they kept calling. They only have my cell # so I finally just changed my message to say...
Hi, you've reached Emily. Sorry I missed your call, but leave me your name and # and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. If you are a wedding vendor, please note that I already have a DJ, photographer, videographer, florist, and limo company so please remove me from your call list. Thanks!
I get calls now from #'s I don't know but I don't get messages anymore!

I just changed all my information because I have been getting calls and junk mail up the wazoo.
About 3 calls a day and about 12 pieces of junk mail a week. Some of them even still called after I said I had all of my vendors booked!!!
So now my number on here is 917-000-0000 and my address is PO Box 00, Any Town, NY 00000.
Do ya think that will stop the crap from now on??

Was it that bad? I've only gotten 1 call so far
We were getting at least 10 calls per week at the peak of calls. And the junk mail was insane! We are still getting calls every now and then and mail from one DJ company every week. I'm less than 5 months away, don't you think I've booked by now?
Actually, I have noticed that most of the mail was coming from the one expo I went to about 1 week after we got engaged. Because the mail label has October 2006 as our date. That was our original thought when I went to the expo. LIW obviously has the right date.
