I onced worked somewhere that a person actually said this!! Someone was running around looking for her food and they didn´t say anything. When it became a bigger deal the person finally said that it was an accident!!
They said they had brought in the same meal the other day and thought it was theirs!!!
can´t remember now what it was but i do remember it was a home cooked meal that wasn´t your tipical meal. what are the chances??

someone stole my slimfast from the office fridge yesterday. i was so pissed because not only did they steal it but they wrote their name on it & left it in the fridge.
so they thought that i stole it from them & put it under my turkey sandwich. come on seriously, u couldn't ask around.

OH!! I just remember another coworker!!! She was the worst!! This was at one of my first jobs and it left me scared to bring in food. She wouldn´t totally steal peoples food. She would take a spoon and taste everyones food. Or just take a piece. She would especially do this if it was leftovers from take out or something like that. She said that they wouldn´t know the difference and that they made more money anyway!1 (they were in sales and got commission, we were in customer service) other times if she was pissed at someone she would put stuff in it.
Can you belive this? I wouldn´t want some licked spoon in my food!! I didn´t bring in my own food for a while and when I finally did I would wrap it with masking tape or something and write my name in a way that I would notice if it was open. (i even stapled a bag shut once!! ) Its nuts that I would have to resort to crazy things like just to make sure my food was safe!! when i found out i told someone who had been there a little longer who i trusted and she said she all ready knew. even the boss knew. apparently she had been working in the company for years and noone wanted to tell her anything. things can be so crazy!!

When I worked for Disney in the VIP Concierge Lounge someone used to always steal a different lunch everyday for about a month. One day (when I was lead on duty, of COURSE) this girl Tiffany 'caught' the guy eating her pudding and came running to me about it! He ended up getting written up but they couldn't prove he was the lunch bandit (as I called him for a while) other than the day that Tiffany caught him with her pudding and had her daughter's Barbie tupperware with her initials on the bottom sitting on his table. Juvenile.

They use to do this all the time at my other job. People would put post it's with their names on their food. Someone used to steal my strawberry yogurt EVERY DAY at this hell hole lol.
