Somebody kill me, Im venting For those of you who know the deal with the sperm donor

He calls me at work today and starts.

Mind you dad has not and continues to take part of nothing in my life.

Well today he calls us and says when are we going to get his tuxedo, that hes walking me down the aisle and that when is the limo picking him up.

ARE YOU F******** KIDDING ME.

Well tonight Paul and I are going to his house to speak to mule. Im so madd I knew this was going to happen. We have been engaged for a year and a half and the whole time he wanted nothing to do with it.

Then my mom went to go speak with him about his part in the wedding and he threw her out.

IM SO PISSED

the doctors say he doesnt but we are convinced he does.

Im so upset right now, nothing like airing your dirty laundry out the window.

My father is a very shrewd man and he knows what he is doing in his sick mind. He always somehow comes out looking like the star.

Im so mad, tonight Im telling him that he doesnt deserve any of the above, he is invited as a guest and thats it.

If that is not to his liking then dont come Im so sick of him playing games with me and my brother.

My initial anger in me would tell him 'too little too late, buddy!'

I want to know what his motivation is...why the sudden interest? Why not just call the week before the wedding -- nothing like doing things the last minute!

I would just tell him exactly as you feel - you shouldn't feel pressured to include him in your wedding if you do not want to! Who is walking you down the isle? Your mom or special guy in your life? If you have decided - which I'm sure you have - just tell him you already asked so and so so tough.

That's why this board is here.. it's unbelievalbe how there are some people that you would think would be keen enough to shut up and stay out of your way, nonetheless during such a happy time, and instead they make you miserable.. frikkin ridiculous..

Trust me, Todd has been having problems with his dad.. a whole dif issue.. but along the same lines, and Todd has just come to terms with the fact that it's his and my day.. no one elses.. figure out whatcha going to do and stick with it...

Thank you, erox I know. he had such an interest thats why he waited till 2 months before the wedding

Ill tell you what his sick motive is, he has bab mouthed my family to everyone saying that we are the bad ones. Now he will say how he was willing to participate but it was me

I am walking myself down and Paul will be meeting me 1/2 way.

I wanna go home now, he knows not to call me at work

I completely know where you are coming from, and how you feel, wacky. I have the same situation going on. Why do they feel they are SO IMPORTANT all of a sudden, when they have wanted nothing to do in the rest of your life? Fathers like this P**S me off.

my cousin had the same prob with her dad - stick to your guns - thats what she did - and he didn't come, even tried to convince his family not to - they didn't listen....its your wedding, not his, try not to let him get to you and good luck hon!

what you really need to do is not worry that this a$$ is going to come out looking like the good guy -because anyone who knows anything knows he's not, no matter what load of bull he sells! It sounds to me that he's looking to give the family the appearance of being a good father, blah blah, but he's only kidding himself! Don't you worry about what you look like - if anyone says anything negative about you, you can always tell them, well he raised me, no wonder I'm like this!
